Jonny Wilkinson – Never Ending Story

There’s an interview with Martin Corry today singing the praises of Jonny Wilkinson.

For sure he’s a great player and his run of injuries since the 2003 World Cup has deprived him (and the rest of us) of 5 of the best years of his playing career.

Which is tragic.

But if he is able to stay injury free for a while we could still see him bring some order and authority to the England Rugby team.

Which would be great (except when they are playing South Africa :) )

Seriously, I do hope he is able to regain his full fitness and stay injury free. He is one of the greats and it would be a loss to world rugby for him to be relegated to the occasional match here and there.

My thoughts and best wishes are with you, JW.  Make a sustained come-back – we need players of your calibre, whichever team you’re playing for!

Here’s that interview.
