Well – now Ive seen it all: Ralf Schumacher, the not-so-wildly-successful younger brother of Michael, has said that Red Bull should ‘not have let Webber win’ last weekend at the Nurburgring. See his comments here.
He went on to say that Vettel was the stronger driver and that Red Bull should have made him the #1 driver before the German GP.
Stronger driver..? Before the German GP he was 3.5 points ahead of Webber and now he’s just 1.5 points ahead. If there’s one more 1 – 2 with Webber first and Vettel second, Webber will overtake Vettel in the Driver’s Championship.
And Webber’s been driving this season with pins and bits of metal holding his leg together. (He has to go for another operation after the Hungarian GP).
So I would seriously dispute that Vettel’s the stronger driver. Good – for sure. But so is Webber.
